University of Denver James C. Kennedy Mountain campus is a gem in the DU Educational portfolio. Accomplished due to generous donors, this project is part wayfinding, part donor recognition, part place-maintaining. It’s not placemaking simple because these signs are not intended to “make” the place, but keep the beautiful, rugged landscape as pristine as possible, which lead to the direction of the free-standing signs both blending in, and standing out based on your path of travel and anticipated wayfinding needs.
